1,000 ways to celebrate Europe!

There are already 1,000 Spring Day events taking place all over Europe. The first 1,000 schools that have shared their events on our website have now been awarded a special event kit, which includes guidelines, stickers, a map of Europe and posters.

Meetings with experts, song contests and games are just some of the events going on in Spring Day schools. The Иван Вазов school in Bulgaria organized a debate on human rights, while pupils at the Lajos Gyakorló Általános school centre in Hungary celebrated European cultures by inviting a group of Dutch students to visit them.

In Greece, pupils from Nea Artaki high school are designing a logo and a slogan linked to European training and professional development. In the Czech Republic pupils at SOŠ Blatná are participating in an art competition that addresses the subject of combating poverty and social exclusion.

Bring Europe to your classroom and organize as many Spring Day events as you want. You can invite local or European experts to talk to your pupils, or plan any other interesting activity that focuses on this year themes – European Citizenship and Fundamental Rights, Climate Change and Biodiversity. Publish your eventson the website and make sure you check the gallery of events to find out what is happening in the other Spring Day schools.
