    Thirty brilliant contributions were selected as this year’s winners of the Spring Day competitions. The ten best entries for “Becoming teacher for 1 day!” and “My SD film on climate change” , together with the top five submissions for “Animal Tracks” and “Bio-masks” were evaluated by the Pedagogical Advisers and by a Grand Jury.Read more

  • Winners of the Estonian Spring Day competition come to see how EU institutions work

    Brussels, 30 June 2010. Spring Day 2010 officially closes with a final study trip to the heart of Europe. A group of eight students from Kuressaare Gymnasium (Kuressaare, Estonia), two accompanying teachers and Irma Kaljulaid, from the Estonian EC Representation, spent two days in Brussels, visiting the European Parliament, the European Commission and the offices of European Schoolnet.Read more

  • Spring Day closing event in Bulgaria

    The end of the European Spring Day for Europe campaign in Bulgaria was marked by a ceremony where pupils aged 13-20 were awarded for their participation in a youth essay competition organized by the Representation of the European Commission in Bulgaria.Read more
  • “Back to School” in Italy: Schools and communities vow to make education better

    On 29 May, four secondary schools in Agrigento and Ravanusa (Italy) celebrated a great European moment – singing, reading poems and confirming their wish to improve education for young people. As part of the Spring Day “Back to School” campaign, the event involved the participating schools as well as European guests and local municipalities.Read more
